Consistency When Starting Young Horses

Category: Training — Carrie @ 3:36 pm

When it comes to starting and training young horses, or any horse for that matter, consistency is key. Horses learn from repetition. If you’re trying to teach something to your horse, always use the same methods. Do repeat lessons, often. Several short lessons each day maybe more beneficial than setting aside several hours for one training session. A series of short lessons, using consistent methods are more likely to produce lasting results for your training objectives.
