Learning in life is such a wonderful opportunity. As horseman or aspiring horseman, there is no end to what we can learn, if we keep an open mind. Whether you desire to improve your riding skills, basic horse husbandry, nutrition, safety or training, In Motion Sport Horses has something to offer you.
Riding lessons last anywhere from 40-60 minutes, depending upon the horse and/or rider. During a typical lesson, riders will practice exercises to improve their balance and riding position. My goal as an instructor is to teach students to become self thinking, balanced, confident riders. If a rider is a beginner, part of their riding lesson will be spent on the ground learning about safety, bridling and saddling, grooming and general care of a horse.
I have a school horse available for beginner or intermediate riders in Southern Oregon. I teach english and western riding and beginning jumping.
Here are a couple of comments from some current students:
Mom, Gina — “Thank you Carrie for the lessons with Danielle and Daisy. You are teaching them so much, we are so thankful.”
Mom, Mary — “Thank you Carrie for everything you have done for us. And for the wonderful job you are doing with Shannon. You are a very special friend.
Adult rider, Judi — “Thanks for another great lesson yesterday, Carrie! And my trail ride on Sunday allowed me to see just how much my lessons have paid off. I’m amazed at the difference in both myself, as a more confident & accomplished rider, and my horse, who responds SO well now to anything I ask of him. I’m so thankful that someone with your breadth of knowledge is willing to share it with others. You’re the best!! Christmas blessings to you!
